Where We Came From

Our founder, E. Alan Tiras, a corporate attorney with an MBA, has been working with business owners and advisors since 1991. With this background, Alan determined that the needs of small businesses were not being fully met. Short term, issue specific consulting was needed. Having an attorney on retainer, a full time accountant or a human resources department were luxuries most small businesses could not afford.  Small businesses were not connected to the information and service providers they needed for success.  Thus, the idea of the CenterPoint Community was born.

How We’re Unique

Our greatest feature is that the CenterPoint Community is fully collaborative. You are welcome and encouraged  to participate in every aspect of the Community. Our Blog is constantly updated and covers a wide variety of topics with contributions from many small business experts. Read and comment on the Blog.  Pose questions on the Forums. Answer questions on the Forums – prove your expertise. Create a Group to focus your creativity and share your ideas. Add legal or business documents, How-To guides, or audio or video seminars to the Market. Participating on any level is a new way to promote your company and connect with new clients.  The CenterPoint Community helps you get the information you need to succeed.

Where We’re Going

The CenterPoint Community has developed a goal to link businesses to advisors, service providers and other businesses.

The CenterPoint Community is a tool for collaboration.  From Business Associations to Chambers of Commerce, to like-minded people connecting to share great ideas, the Community provides the resources for efficient and effective communication.  Community Groups provide a single interface for sharing information, files, events, links and pictures with members.  Any addition to the 'Journal' is immediately shared with the Group's members.  There is a record of what has been shared, so no more digging through emails to find information.

But it's not just about finding the right collaborators. You want to put your business out there and find new clients. Our growing network of businesses, advisors and service providers gives you many unique ways to expose your business to new networks and potential clients. Putting your business online is valuable.
